“I’m still the top dog in the division”: How to Watch the Errol Spence Jr. vs. Danny Garcia PPV Fight
Undefeated and unified world welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr (26-0, 21 KOs) returns to defend his titles against former two-division champion Danny Garcia (36-2, 21 KOs). The hotly anticipated bout will headline a Fox Sports Premier Boxing Champions card held at the AT&T Stadium and will be available on pay-per-view.
This will be Spence Jr.’s first fight after a horrific car accident in October of last year; despite escaping any significant injuries, there are doubts that he can return at 100%. However, ‘The Truth’ refutes these claims and insists his game plan is tight and that Garcia’s skill set ‘will bring out the best in [him]’. He will need to play it safe and avoid brawling with Garcia, who is the stronger of the two. Although there are skeptics, the odds weigh in Spence’s favor for this, his 4th title defense.

Garcia is coming off a two-fight winning streak over Adrian Granados (via TKO) and Ivan Redkach. However, he has suffered two close but significant defeats in the last couple years to Keith Thurman and Shawn Porter, costing him the WBC belt. He and his father have been very vocal that they will be looking for the knockout against Spence. Garcia holds impressive KO power with defeats over Amir Khan, Erik Morales and Granados. A win for Garcia would catapult the Philadelphia native back into champion status, reclaiming his belts on Spence Jr.’s home soil.
Expect both athletes to bring the fire. The undefeated champ is on a new lease of life, and fighting in Arlington, surrounded by his native Texans, will only add to his fuel. A win for Spence would solidify him as the top boxer to beat in the division with Terence Crawford and Manny Pacquiao as potential opponents. Garcia is hungry to reclaim his title and finish the fight early, but Spence is likely to retain his status if the bout goes the distance.
Expect an entertaining night of explosive action from these world-class champions.
